Linking Real-Life Situations with Classroom Assessment: Development of Real-Life Performance-Based Tasks in Business Mathematics

This study aimed to develop real-life performance-based tasks in Business Mathematics (RLPBTs) following the ADDIE’s model of instructional development. Using descriptive-developmental research design, developed RLPBTS with mathematics experts, department head, bank manager, teachers, and students as respondents. The RLPBTs consist plans. Each plan has these components: Introduction, Learning Competency, Outcome, Task Execution, Scoring Guide, Generalization. design content plans were assessed very good. On other hand, execution Tasks favorable. Grade 11 also agreed that helped them understand better concepts business mathematics. They claimed they enjoyed because inclusion situations simulated. use provides another innovation teaching learning Mathematics.
